This diagnosis is characterized by a sequential shutdown of kidney functions, which is expressed in the death of nephrons. In the process of this disease, irreversible violations of the functions of filtration and excretion of the body’s waste products are observed.

The manifestation of the stages of renal failure depends on the degree of damage to the kidney sites. There are three stages of this disease: initial, conservative and terminal. The first stage is characterized by frequent urination, some patients have increased blood pressure, sometimes mild anemia is observed. At the second stage, urine formation continues in patients, blood pressure increases. Anemia becomes moderate, and the creatine level in the blood rises to 700 mmol/l. The last stage is expressed by a sharp decrease in urination or even its absence, obvious signs of anemia in patients, an increase in the level of phosphates and sodium in the blood.

The early stages of the disease may be asymptomatic, while the patient may have high blood pressure. If complications occur, urination at night becomes more frequent, the smell of ammonia from the mouth appears, dryness and itching of the skin. Weight loss, increased weakness and uncontrolled urination contribute to the progression of the disease.

In the early stages, kidney failure occurs with mild symptoms, so the patient will have to take tests. If the symptoms are confirmed, they begin to prescribe treatment, the main purpose of which will be the treatment of the underlying disease that caused the development of kidney disease. Currently, a special diet with a reduced intake of protein and salt is being developed. To reduce blood pressure, diuretics and drugs that block activity are prescribed. Normalize carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. As a preventive measure, experts recommend quitting smoking, reducing excess weight, correcting elevated glucose levels and treating hypertension.
